Glory be to the Triune God !
On behalf of HG Job Mar Philoxenos, Metropolitan of the Diocese of Delhi, we are proud to welcome you to be a part of a unique vision dreamt by His Grace of a Dynamic Orthodox Church, worshiping in nature, filled with the Spirit of God, living in true discipleship of Jesus Christ, sharing, caring and loving in fellowship, as taught by the Saints of the Church for the glory of God Almighty.
The visible Church today is unable to realise it in all its fullness because of many difficulties and obstacles. In the light of this vision, it was in January 2005 that His Grace formed the Indian Orthodox Diaspora Secretariat at the Delhi Orthodox Centre for the sake of
1. The future young generation brought up in the diaspora.
2. Those who do not come to Church regularly.
3. Those who find it difficult to understand or relish the Holy Sacraments, the faith and tradition of our Church.
4. Those who are part of our Church from other denominations and religions.
5. All those who wish to be part of the Faith and tradition of the Orthodox Church, irrespective of any caste, creed, denomination or religion.
This is a forum which intends to inspire, teach, care, nurture and serve the Church in the true spirit of Christ, in addressing effectively various issues related to the above , thus providing the right platform to learn and experience the unique faith and tradition of the Orthodox Church. It is with this vision and objective in heart and mind, we humbly invite the valuable participation and commitment of all faithful members of our Church, those regular and those irregular, those from Kerala background and those from the diaspora and all other well wishers to be a partaker of this vision.
As a member you will be able to :-
1. Take part in all activities of the Secretariat.
2. Receive a News Letter of the Diaspora every month.
3. Contribute your valuable ideas in word and practice for the above.
Membership : We invite all members of the Church to be a part of the Secretariat. To be a member, please fill up the form attached and send it to the Secretariat office. No membership fee is required to be paid, however you are free to contribute to the Secretariat as much as God permits you to do so.
We intend to organise various activities for the above on a regular basis for which we request your valuable prayers, encouragement and support. We will be intimating you, in due course, our activities as and when they are planned.
